To me, Jimmy was more like a brother than a cousin. It doesn’t seem real to me that he is gone. I know he’s in heaven; however, I am selfish enough that I would’ve preferred he remain here for much, much longer. I am so grateful we got to spend some time together a couple of weeks ago (I wish that meeting was under different circumstances). It breaks my heart that we’d just discussed spending more time together. Work weeks and life’s responsibilities have a way of taking us away from the things that are most important (family), don’t they? I cherish the memories of our childhood and the times we did spend together as adults. Until the grand reunion, Jimmy you are missed and very loved!
