Obituary

Janet Marie Vaughan went to be with the Lord Sunday, December 14th 2025 at 69 years of age. She was preceded in death by her parents, Betty (2013) and Joseph Fredrich (2025), and her brother Joseph (JoJo) Fredrich Jr. (2011). She leaves behind her only daughter; Courtney Marie Vaughan (Hunter), her sister; Bettie Jo Swinson, three nieces: Amy Jarvis (Russ), Erin Morse (Ricky) and Jessica Swinson and two nephews: Matthew Fredrich and James Childress (Melissa). As well as nine great nieces and nephews; Callie, Keagan, Loran, Will, Mason, Benton, Abigail, Carter, and Elizabeth.

Janet loved to live her life by the seat of her pants. At any point of time, you could find her riding on the back of a motorcycle through town or sitting on a patio enjoying a drink with her friends. She was known for her love of quirky headbands for every holiday, anything pig related and her ever present floral handbag that magically held everything anyone could possibly need.

Janet was a force to be reckoned with and she loved her family and friends dearly. Her presence will be greatly missed by those she called family (which was just about every person she met). As per her wishes a viewing will not be held, but a party is to be held to celebrate her life and memory. Memorial arrangements have not been established at this point in time, but the family will announce the celebration details via Facebook.
