Michelle, God’s grace and peace to you during this time and in the coming months. God’s mental, physical, social, emotional, spiritual strength to you. I miss seeing you at Carter Mountain. Since my dear wonderful Daddy went to Jesus last February 2025, I have not been to Carter as much. I used to go with him. We will probably go a lot during the kingdom reign of Jesus on this earth. God bless you Michelle. This is Tom Abernethy, Jr.

Michele,
I was deeply saddened to hear about your sister’s passing. I only had the chance to meet her once, but I remember clearly how warm and genuine she was, and the wonderful sense of humor she carried with her. It was one of those impressions that stays with you.
Please know that you and your family are in my thoughts during this difficult time. May the memories you shared together bring comfort and remind you of the joy she brought to those around her.
With deepest sympathy,
Samuel Sarquah

To the family of Janice, I was shocked and saddened to hear of Janice’s death. She was a wonderful colleague.
We taught at LCB together in the “Sped” department. We always had great conversations. Janice was hilarious! One day we ran into each other at the grocery store and I didn’t notice she was behind me. Others were in line also but didn’t realize Janice knew me. Janice using her martial arts skills decided to kick me lightly on my rear. I turned around with my mindset ready to react as people stared also shocked. When I saw it was Janice, instantly we embraced and laughed uncontrollably! Spectators were relieved they didn’t have to witness a fight.
Also Janice told me she once taught at Park View h.s. in her earlier years. That’s one of the 2 high schools in the small community where I was born. Our paths were destined to cross.
Janice will be missed. She was an interesting and inspirational lady. She was a woman of faith.
May God comfort all who loved Janice. Rest in His arms. Angela
