Sorry to hear about such a young guy passing away in our community. My prayers are with your family, soon death will be no more.

My heart goes out to all of Bart’s family, especially his son Jon (my nephew). We had a lot of fun times together! Raymond and I had a blast at Bart and Jennifer’s house every Sunday watching football all day and spending time together (even though they were Cowboy fans) He taught my son Brad and his dad Raymond how to play some tunes on the guitar, and they enjoyed playing video games with him (My sister and I always had a hard time getting them to come downstairs and stop playing for a little while) Our family enjoyed when Bart would come up to the country and shoot guns and fish with us. I know my sister was happy that Bart taught Jon how to drive (moms get a little anxious trying to teach their teenage children how to drive) The last time I saw Bart was at Jon’s 17th Birthday dinner at Texas Roadhouse. Bart dove his Mustang there which he was so excited about buying. When we were leaving, My husband, Steve pulled up to him at a stop light and Bart revved the engine grinning from ear to ear (my husband Steve is a drag racer and Bart wanted to race from the stop light) That was the last time I saw Bart as he drove away with that big smile on his face. He was an awesome father to Jon and taught him so many things. I am thankful to have had him as a brother-in-law and share those memories and others with him. He will live in our hearts forever.
