Obituary
Jimmy Earl Brown, 81, of Chester, Virginia went to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 6, 2025. Devoted husband, wonderful father, loving son, and proud PawPaw. He was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Gaynelle Brown; son, Paul Brown; and siblings, Sharon Marr, Steve Brown, and Donnie Brown. Jimmy is survived by his wife Teresa Brown, daughters, Stefanie Munksgard (Jim) and Amanda Adams (Jason); son, Tony; grandchildren, Kristen Jenkins (Kristine), Amanda Brown, Kylie Munksgard, Julia Adams, and James Adams; great-grandchildren, Summer Harwood, Myleigh Harwood, and Huntley Bostic. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Jimmy was a proud Sergeant in the US Marine Corps and after his service to his country he became a Chesterfield County Police Officer and retired as a Training Officer in 1997. He loved fishing, boating, riding jet skis, and being on the water.

Jimmy’s memorial service will be held at 12:00 pm on Thursday, September 11 at Morrissett Funeral & Cremation Service, 6500 Iron Bridge Rd., N. Chesterfield, VA 23234. Teresa, I am so sorry to hear about the passing of your husband, Jim. You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers. Just remember he will always be with you in your heart and when you think about the good and bad times. Just know he will be there waiting for you and will always be watching over you.
