Obituary
Joanne Dodson Smith, 67, of Midlothian, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 2, 2014. She was preceded in death by her parents, Sarah W. and Gordon K. Dodson, Sr. She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Frankie Smith; sons, Frankie Smith (Lynn) and Brian Smith (Brandi); brothers, Gordon K. Dodson, Jr. (Theresa) and John E. Dodson (Jo Ann); grandchildren, Brendan and Briley Smith; step-granddaughters, Heather Botero and Martha Green; step-great-grandchildren, Isabella and Jacob Botero. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday at Morrissett Funeral and Cremation Service, 6500 Iron Bridge Rd. (Rte. 10). Her funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Dale Memorial Park.
