Obituary
Joanne Dunn Orange, 89, of Hockessin, DE went to be with the Lord, Thursday, December 22, 2022. She was born August 21, 1933, in Fayetteville, NC to the late James Jackson and Dorothy Day Dunn, she is preceded in death by her brothers, David L. Dunn (Ellen), James Dunn (Joyce Craig), and Robert Dunn (Terrie Black); and sister, Delores Dunn Galloway (John Galloway).
Joanne worked as a nurse’s aide at a local clinic in Temple, TX; an Insurance Co and Day Care center in Richmond, VA. She enjoyed her family, Amish friends, and good neighbors.
Joanne is survived by her husband of 69 years, Paige S. Orange; son, Greg Orange; daughter, Judy Gibbons (John), four grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends and family on Friday, December 30, 2022, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Morrissett Funeral & Cremation Service, 6500 Iron Bridge Road, North Chesterfield, VA 23234. Interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 2901 West Hundred Road, Chester, VA 23831 in the mausoleum.

I have such good memories of our carpool days at RCS. “Miss Joanne” and her VW bus… I had wanted to be there today to express my sympathies in person, but my Mom just had surgery on Tuesday. Please know you all are remembered fondly and we are praying for you.
