Morrissett Funeral Home, Richmond, VA (877) 719-7901 is in charge of arrangements (condolences at morrissett.com). John’s family wishes to offer many thanks to all those that have given comfort and friendship through this tough journey. Pokey, as he was known to his family, will be greatly missed for his can-do attitude and ability to help solve problems. John loved fishing. He was a loyal customer and friend to Captain Ernie and the Albatross Fleet in Hatteras Village. With that in mind, the family requests that, in lieu of flowers, you take a friend fishing and share a laugh or two. Fish on!
