Obituary
John F. Kunze, 83, of N. Chesterfield, went to be with the Lord on Monday, April 30, 2018. He is survived by his sons, John Jay K. Kunze and Parke Flournoy; daughter, Bonnie Carroll; daughter-in-law, Diane Flournoy; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandson; brothers, Paul (Mildred) Kunze, Bobby (Betty) Kunze, Jimmy (Sue) Kunze; sister, Shirley (Rudy) Flores. John was preceded in death by his wife, Nan Kunze; parents, Emma and Frederick Kunze; son, Steven Flournoy; and sister, Mary Lou Jahnke. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at Morrissett Funeral and Cremation Service, 6500 Iron Bridge Rd (Rte. 10). His funeral service will be held 11 a.m. on Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at Morrissett Funeral and Cremation Service. He will be laid to rest at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at the Virginia Veterans Cemetery in Amelia. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions may be made to Richmond Animal League, 11401 International Dr., N. Chesterfield, VA 23236.
