Obituary

Jose Manuel Gely Jr., of Chesterfield, VA, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 21, 2017. He is survived by his wife of twenty-six years, Ana Gely; his daughters, Marta and Johanna Gely; sons, Javier, Jose Manuel Gely, and Jose M. Gely Pinero; step-daughters, Annette Rodriguez, Sheila Gonzalez, and Leslie Cuellar; thirteen grandchildren; sisters, Daisy and Maritza Gely; and brother, Jesus Concepcion. Jose was preceded in death by his father, Jose Gely, and brother, Edwin Gely. The family will receive friends from 2 to 9 p.m. on Saturday, November 25, 2017, at Morrissett Funeral & Cremation Service, 6500 Iron Bridge Rd., North Chesterfield, VA 23234. His funeral service will be held on Monday, November 27, 2017, at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment at Dale Memorial Park.

    May the God of comfort grant the family peace, at this sad time. So sorry for the loss of Mr. Gely. ( Psalms 46:1) God is our refuge and strength, a help that is readily found, in times of distress.

  2. We did not have the opportunity to meet who obviously was a wonderful man. But instead the kindness and character of his step daughters Leslie and Sheila shine within them. God continue to bless your family.
