Obituary

Joseph Antonio Antich, Sr., 74, passed away June 13, 2022. He was born July 29, 1947, to Maria Erich Antich in Rijeka, Italy. He came to the United States in 1965 and became a U.S. citizen in 1971. Always a hard worker, Joe worked many jobs to provide for his young family before starting his own contracting business, Joe’s Home Improvements, in 1970. Joe was an outgoing jokester who loved woodworking and gardening in his free time.

Joseph is preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Antich; and mother, Maria. He is survived and loved by his sons, Joseph Antich Jr. (Ellen) and Jimmy Antich (Christy); 4 grandsons, Tony (Audra), Boyd (Isabella), Gino, and Christopher (Hannah); 3 great-grandchildren, Logan, Skylar, and Zoey; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Joanne and Barry Hutchinson, who lovingly spent many hours caring for Joe during his recent illness; and two nieces, Krista (Jason) Sims and Kerri (Kirk) Vogel.

Visitation will be 6pm-8pm on Tuesday, June 21st at Morrissett Funeral and Cremation Service, 6500 Iron Bridge Road, N. Chesterfield. A graveside service will take place 2pm Wednesday, June 22nd at Dale Memorial Park, 10201 Newbys Bridge Rd, Chesterfield.

He was always so quiet whenever I saw him and your mom but he would have a big smile when we would talk about his boys.
