Obituary

Joseph William Simon Jr. passed away June 24, 2023. He was born December 16, 1943 to Joseph William Simon Sr. and Inez (Tilley) Simon Grammer. He was very active in Masonic Lodges and Eastern Star Chapters in the area and was recently honored as a 50-year member of both. He was an active member of Walmsley Boulevard United Methodist Church through out his life. He was retired from Honeywell/Allied Signal after over 30 years of service.

Joseph is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Sr. and Inez. Joseph is survived by his children, Tracy Gyori (Richard) and Joseph “Joey” L. Simon; grandchildren, Adam and Nathan Gyori and Alex Harrison; sister, Alease Foster Brock (Mack); longtime devoted friend Dot Moyer; and extended nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A visitation will take place from 5pm-7pm on Friday, June 30, 2023 at Morrissett Funeral and Cremation Service, 6500 Iron Bridge Road, N. Chesterfield. A graveside service with Masonic rites will take place 1pm Saturday, July 1^st at Dale Memorial Park in Chesterfield.
