Obituary

Julia B. Callaway, 94, of Henrico, VA went to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 23, 2019. Beloved wife of the late Charles T. “Bugs” Callaway, Sr; mother of Charles Travis Callaway, Jr. (Theresa); grandmother of Jessica C. Zullo (Nicholas), Sarah P. Howell (Christopher), Joanna M. Callaway, Coleman L. Callaway; great-grandmother of Noah T. Howell and Charles P. Zullo. Julia is also survived by her siblings Hallie B. Bowman and Cecil Bess. Julia enjoyed fishing, working in her vegetable garden, and making clothing for her family. She was also known for having the best yeast roll recipe. Julia was a devoted wife, loving mother, and grandmother. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm on Thursday, June 27 at Morrissett Funeral & Cremation Service, 6500 Iron Bridge Rd. N. Chesterfield, VA 23234. Julia’s graveside service will be held on Friday, June 28 at the Virginia Veterans Cemetery in Amelia.
