Obituary

Ellis, June Page, 80, of Richmond, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 15, 2009. She is survived by her husband, Clyde E. Ellis, Sr.; sons, Clyde E. “Sonny” Ellis, Jr. and his wife, Lee, Michael S. Ellis and his partner, Les Stutzman; sister, Terry Ellis; brother, Jack Page; grandson, Matthew Ellis. The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Morrissett Funeral Home, 6500 Iron Bridge Rd. (Rt. 10). Her funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Interment to follow in Sunset Memorial Park.

  1. My sincere sympathy on the loss of our dear friend June. I met her through CWGA ladies golf outtings and each time we played I thoroughly enjoyed her humor and company. She loved her game! We will truly miss her smiles. Prayers and Peace, Donna

  4. I AM DEEPLY SADDENED BY THE DEATH OF JUNE ELLIS. GENE AND I HAVE KNOWN HER FOR MANY YEARS AND LOVED HER AS A FRIEND AND FELLOW GOLFER AT MCC.
    SHE WAS ALWAYS SO HELPFUL WITH THE 9-HOLE GOLF GROUP AND ANYONE WHO NEEDED ASSISTANCE WITH THEIR GAME. WE WILL MISS SEEING HER FRIENDLY SMILE.
