Obituary

Dynia, Karen Louise, 64, of Chesterfield, and formerly of Johnstown, PA, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 28, 2010. She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Jill and Stone Strotmeyer, Michelle and Rod Ferguson; son and daughter-in-law, Greg S. and Crystal Dynia; sisters and brother-in-law, Barbara Heinle, and Kathy and Bob Barczak; brothers and sisters-in-law, Robert and Jackie Klimeck, Richard and Joanne Klimeck; grandchildren, Walker, Mackenzie, Lilly Grace, Bailey, August, and Kylee; loving friend, Greg G. Dynia; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, David Klimeck. Karen worked as an X-ray technician for many years. She was a very active member of St. Augustine Catholic Church and was a member of the St. Augustine’s Women’s Guild. She loved assisting with fundraisers, bingo, food pantry, and many other events. Karen was also a member of the Chesterfield Historical Society and the Virginia Fine Arts Museum. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM Wednesday at Morrissett Funeral Home, 6500 Iron Bridge Road (Rte. 10). A Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled for 10 AM Thursday at St. Augustine Catholic Church. Interment will follow at the cemetery.
