Obituary

Karen Lee Suttles, 65, of South Chesterfield, VA. went to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 13, 2023. She was born on May 17, 1958, in Richmond, VA. to the late Violet May and Irvin “I.P.” Williams, Jr. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Stephen Williams; grandson, Blake Pierce; nephew, Andrew Williams; and aunt, Nadean Woods.

She is survived by her beloved daughters, Violet Jean Pierce (Dave), Katie Lee Suttles (Robert), Toni Nicole Johnson (Chase); grandbabies, Alyssa, Gracie, Colton, Layla, Dakota, Kaytlyn (David), and Cody; great grandbabies, Brooklyn and David; sister, Susan McNeil; brothers, David Williams (Kathy) and Michael Williams; sister-in-law, Marsha Williams; uncle, Calvin Whitaker; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Karen was a long-time employee of the Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services. In her quality time she loved going to the river and spending time with her family and friends.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, August 17, 2023 at Morrissett Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 6500 Iron Bridge Road, North Chesterfield, VA 23234.Her memorial service will be held on Friday, August 18, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
