Enjoyed working with Layton at Reynolds for eight years 60s-70s, we had a great friendship at work and when off. Shot our bows and lifted weights every day at lunch break. Hunted at farm he and brother n law jointly owned in chesterfield cty. helped each other with personal projects. Have thought of those years often since, hard to believe we never kept up after I moved west. Interestingly I was just looking for contact info when I found this obit. prayers for
Diane and family, Jud

So sorry to hear of Layton’s passing. We grew up in the same neighborhood. We both attended VCU (RPI back then) and he used to give me a ride to school most days. My condolences to his family.
