Leonard Nelson Rea, 88, died Sunday, September 27, 2020 in Tyler, TX. He was born October 1, 1931 in Chesterfield County, Virginia. He was preceded in death by his first wife of 51 years, Elizabeth Anne Rea; parents, John W. & Margaret C. Rea; brothers, John W. Rea, Frederick W. Rea, James A. Rea, Donald A. Rea; and grandson, Andrew D. Rea. He is survived by his wife, Sherry Rea; daughters, Marita Rea and her husband C.B. Umphlette Jr., Suzanne Nieves and her husband Abraham, and Jennifer Sacra and her husband Keith; son, Patrick Rea; grandchildren, Steven Wright, Zoe Rea, Sofie Pinney, and Henry Rea; great-grandchildren, Everin Hawman-Rea, Malik Wright, and Makai Wright; niece and goddaughter, Antonia Rea; stepsons, Michael Dougherty & John Dougherty III; stepdaughter, Shelle Page; and step-grandchildren, Megan Waiwaiole, Katie Warner, Kaylon Page, Jacob Page, Chelsea Warriner, Addison Dougherty, Caroline Dougherty, Conner Dougherty, Aubry Dougherty, and Fiona Dougherty. His memorial mass will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, November 5, 2020 at St. Augustine Catholic Church, with his graveside service to follow at 3:00 pm at Dale Memorial Park.
