Obituary

Mr. Leroy Taylor, 82, of Monza Drive, North Chesterfield, VA 23234, departed this life on Thursday, March 25, 2021. He was a native of Prince George County, VA and long-time resident of Woodbridge, VA. He was the son of the late Deacon William Henry Taylor, Sr. and Deaconess Bernice James Taylor. Leroy was preceded in death by his wife, Rosa Bailey Taylor; four sisters, Mollie B. Taylor Marsh, Rosa Johnson, Florence Coleman (Lawrence), Lillie Tabron (Raymond); son, Carl Bruce Jackson; and two brothers, William H. Taylor Jr, and George Ed Taylor (Mary).

Leroy served in the U. S. Army during the Vietnam War and afterwards worked many jobs over the years. He retired a proud, disabled veteran.

He leaves to cherish his memory two sons, Jesse Lei Allen (his mother Hester) of Prince George, VA, and Charles Waller of Woodbridge, VA; four daughters, Kathy Baker, Rosaline Bailey, Jackie Baker, and Etta Waller of Woodbridge, VA; two sisters, Josephine A. Jones of Hopewell, VA, and Gladys Taylor Powell (Willie) of Prince George, VA; two brothers, James Louis Taylor (Gertrude) of Prince George, VA, and Eugene Washington (Brenda) of Hopewell, VA; Aunts Adlener Anderson of Baltimore, MD Ida Hall of Prince George, VA, Addie Burton of Newport News, VA ; One devoted nephew, Darryl Peterson of Chesterfield, VA with whom he lived for several years; one favorite nephew, Albert Crawley (Joan) of Prince George, VA; one devoted friend, Delphine Jones; two favorite granddaughters, Diamond Baker and Unique (Red) Baker. He also leaves behind many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews. A personal thanks to his Life Angels; Jamita Winston, Nicole jones, Catalina Washington, Renee Coleman, and Keith Winston.
