Obituary

Johnson, Lillian Throckmorton, 85, of Richmond, received her ultimate healing and went to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 11, 2009. She was the widow of Wilbur M. Johnson, Jr. and is survived by her three children, daughters and sons-in-law, Janice and Edward Rice, Sr., Julie and Joseph Carro; son and daughter-in-law, Bruce and Connie Johnson; sister, Madeline Dixon; grandchildren, Brady and Kim Rice, Amy and Brian Connell, Lisa and John Kuper, Jennifer and Matt Williams, Brooke and Jeremy Crowder, Tori and James Miller, Joseph Anthony and Tara Carro, Phillip Rocco Carro; great-grandchildren Breanna Rice, Hailey Rice, Abigail “Abby” Kuper, Caroline Williams, Lilly Anne Crowder, Krista Miller, Kylie Miller, Kailyn Miller, Caleb Carro, Owen Gibson, Taylor Chaulklin; friends, like daughters, Diane Chaulklin and Valerie Jaskowski. Mrs. Johnson formerly owned and operated Branch’s Beauty Salon and was an active member of the Young at Heart Senior Group. The family will receive friends from 2 pm to 4 pm and 6 pm to 8 pm on Wednesday, January 14, 2008 at the Morrissett Funeral Home, 6500 Iron Bridge Rd. (Rt. 10). Her funeral service will be held at the Chester Church of God on Thursday at 11 am. Interment to follow in Washington Memorial Park.
