Obituary

Linda L. Newell, (79) of Chesterfield, VA went to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 27, 2022. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald W. Newell, SGM US Army (Ret.); son, Jerry Newell; parents, Michael and Bessie Clark; and brothers, Chuck, Ralph, George, and Lowell. Linda is survived by her children, Crystal Walter (Daniel) and David Newell (Charlene); daughter-in-law, Laureen Newell; sister-in-laws, Shirley “Shay” Davis and Jeanie DiSanto. She is also survived by a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 pm on Thursday, September 1, 2022, at Morrissett Funeral & Cremation Service, 6500 Iron Bridge Rd., N. Chesterfield, VA 23234. A funeral service will be held at a later date at Arlington National Cemetery.

Gram I know I haven’t been around alot because I’m in texas but that doesn’t mean I didn’t think about you always, we were close when I was younger and I will never forget the time we shared together. You were a fighter till the end. You will always be my gram and I will never forget your favorite word ( f*** **). You and my pap will always be in my heart. I’m sure you are glad to see uncle Jerry and pap, we will meet again but until then I love you very much ❤️
