Obituary

Lonnie Elbert Hill, Jr., 76, of North Chesterfield, VA went to be with the Lord on Monday, November 24, 2025. He was born on November 29, 1948 in Farmville, Virginia to the late Lonnie Elbert Hill, Sr. and Beatrice Rosen Hill.

Lonnie is survived by his beloved wife of 44 years, Ellen Prasse Hill; children, Dica Hill Cooper, Scott Beasley, and Greg Beasley (Kim); ten grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and brother, John Ross Hill.

Lonnie retired after 35 years of dedicated service with the City of Richmond Tree Division. During his retirement, he continued sharing his passion for fishing while working at Castaway Sporting Goods. He was also a faithful member of Kingsland Baptist Church for more than 50 years.

A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 10, 2025 at Kingsland Baptist Church, 8801 Perrymont Road, North Chesterfield, VA 23237.
