  1. I have wonderful memories of Mrs. Pannell and her family. When I was young, my family lived across the road. I remember how gracious and sweet she was. Her door was always open for us. I remember how she made such cute dresses out of feed cloth. I remember Miriam and I being dear friends, and her brothers playing with my brothers. I remember the Hatchery and Mr. Pannell always so busy. I recall how Mrs. Pannell and my grandmother loved the Lord. There were few Sundays when they weren’t in their pew at Branch’s Baptist Church. Most of all, I remember Mrs. Pannell’s sweet smile. She has lived a long life and I am honored to have known her. Yes,there comes a time when we must leave this earth, but memories linger on.

  2. Gene says:

Dear Bobby,My dad used to take me by the hatchery to buy small chicks.
We grew up together going to Branch’s and Manchester HS.
Sorry to hear about the lost of your mother.
    Sincerely,
    Gene Byer

  3. Sorry for your loss, I know you will miss her. I think about my mother every day. But I know she is in the Lord’s presence and I can’t think of a greater place to be when it is your time. May God give you comfort as only He can give.
