Obituary

My mother Lynn passed away peacefully on November 19, 2022, at home in the care of our family. She is survived by her son John and his wife, Katie; grandchildren, Lana, and Kingston; and her sisters, Pam, and Joan.

Lynn was a former teacher and wonderful artist. She loved her family and friends fiercely and was driven by everything art and music related.  She was a devoted Christian that loved her church, Pocahontas Basset Baptist Church. She was married to the love of her life for over 50 years, Wesley Reinhold.

Together they created a family by adopting their only son, John Reinhold. They lived in Bassett, VA for most of their lives. Lynn often worked on her printed art, and her book “How to Read with Ann”. She was an accomplished artist and sold her art for many years. My mother particularly loved having my close gang of friends, Tony, David, Ben, Gabe, and Jimmy over and loved providing for us all while watching us grow up. I know her proudest moments were watching me have a family and grandkids to love.

A memorial service will be held on December 17, 2022, from 4 to 6 pm in the gathering room at Huguenot Baptist Church, 10525 Huguenot Road Chesterfield, VA 23235. Lynn’s son will be leading the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations towards the cost of celebrating her life.
