Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we mourn the sudden loss of our beloved Marvin Josue Alvarado Estrada, who went to be with the Lord on May 15, 2025. Marvin was a kind, selfless soul who always looked for a way to help others, even in his own struggles. In keeping with his giving spirit, we are honoring him by donating his organs to help save the lives of others. He is loved on by his; Mother, Gloria Estrada Reyes; and three Sisters, Susan Melanie Alvarado Estrada, Keyri Ruby Alvarado Estrada, Jennifer Alvarado Estrada. Friends and Family who will carry his memory forward with strength in hope of helping others who are struggling too. We thank you for your support, compassion, and for helping us carry forward his legacy of love and generosity in this time of grief. The family will receive friends from 11am to 12pm on Monday May 26th, 2025 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church 1400 Perry St, Richmond, VA 23224. His funeral service will be held on Monday May 26th as well from 12pm to 1pm at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, with a procession following the service to Centralia Cemetery 10000 Hopkins Rd, Chester, VA 23831. In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorial contributions may be made to their GoFundme https://gofund.me/cf47e6bf to help cover the expenses of the funeral service.

I am so very sorry for your loss. I have had the honor of teaching all the children in the library at Chalkley and at Manchester Middle. You have a lovely family, and I know Marvin’s kind soul will be greatly missed. My prayers are with you and your family. Much love to all.
