Obituary

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Melinda Chamberlin, age 64, on the day of February 6, 2026. Born December 30, 1961, to Willis and Jenelle Harvey, she would go on to graduate from Meadowbrook High School in 1980 and earn her Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from VCU in 1985. Melinda worked as a self-employed accountant and was best known for her generous personality, kind soul, and loving heart.

Today, she is survived by her daughters, Lee Anne Timbrooks and Caitlin (Jacob) Chamberlin, her son Nathan (Sara) Chamberlin, her brother Ronald Harvey, as well as her grandchildren, Sydney Piechowiak, Bennett Chamberlin, Alexis, and Logan Timbrooks. Melinda is preceded in death by both her parents, Willis and Jenelle Harvey and her brother, Willis Harvey Sr.

A visitation will be held for Melinda on Monday, February 16, from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Morrissett Funeral and Cremation Service, 6500 Iron Bridge Road, North Chesterfield, VA 23234, followed by a celebration of life, beginning at 6:00 PM

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Melinda’s name to Berean Baptist Church.
