  1. I had the great pleasure of working with Clyde at RMCo, MRL, 4th & Canal for many years beginning in 1953. It was a great place to work because of the quality of our coworkers such as Clyde. We worked closely on thermal reduction and the aluminum engine projects. We were in an small enough lab so that even when not on the same project we’d get to chat very briefly almost every week. Clyde was always very positive and a valued friend. Only one problem. I think he was the one who brought mumps from a child to the lab. I got the mumps very shortly after being married – that wasn’t funny until later on.
Clyde will be missed by all who knew him, especially by all of us who knew him at MRD. Sincere condolences to all the family for the loss of his presence. God bless, comfort and protect you. Duke
