Obituary

Michael Kirk Suvak, 72, passed away on December 4, 2021.  Known as Kirk by all who knew and loved him. He was preceded in death by his parents Rudy and Mary Suvak and his sons Michael Kirk Suvak,Jr. and Eric Keith Suvak.

Kirk is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Elaine, his daughters Michele (Frank), Erin (Adam), granddaughters (Kelly Decker, Austen and Amelia Suvak), grandson (Laddie Decker), and many family members and friends all who were loyal to and loved him so much.

Kirk was a graduate of Churchill High School and Allegheny Community College.  As a lifetime PGA member he served as the head golf professional at Edgewood Country Club, DuBois Country Club and Treasure Lake Golf Courses prior to operating his own golf business. Kirk enjoyed golfing and riding around in his 63 Chevy.  Everything he did was for his beloved family, especially for Elaine, the love of his life.

Kirk was a fighter and inspiration to many as he modeled how to battle many health issues with strength, courage and determination all with his wife by his side.

No one will ever forget Kirk’s boyish smile and the way the family dogs followed him around with adoration. He is already greatly missed by those who love him and was an example of the miraculous way God works in people’s lives. Rest easy, Kirk, in the arms of your savior.  Until we meet again…
