  1. He went by many names, Mikie, Michael, Big Mike, Sir Mike, Uncle Mike, Daddy Mike, or just Mike, no matter what you called him, he always called you a friend. Anyone that met Mike Liked him instantly. He was just that kind of person. He had a kind and gentle sole and would do anything he could to make your life easier and better. He loved his family dearly and was very proud of his children and their accomplishments. He strived to be the best person he could be in everything he did. You gave us all so many beautiful memories and left us with a huge hole in our hearts. I love and miss you beyond words. You left us with things left unsaid and undone. You left us just too soon. You will be forever loved and forever missed, and always close to my heart.

To the Kirkland family – I am so sorry for your loss. During these difficult times I find comfort with the scripture at Revelation 21:3,4 where God promises to do away with all sickness and death. May you find comfort in knowing that your dear one is safe in the memory of God, who will remember every detail about him and bring him back again.

  3. My Dear Brother … Mike, I love you very much and will miss you every day until God calls me home to join you. You are a beautiful soul and will make a glorious angel in God’s angel band. Your love of music makes you ‘special’ and one day I desire to hear you play again. I will always treasure our time together both in person and on FaceBook. Reserve a seat for me!

Denese, Vic, and Tony … You have my sincere fervent prayers for your comfort, peace, and love. I am here anytime if you need me.

    With love, Fretta Noel-McDaniel
