Obituary

Wilson, Michael Wayne, 59, of Richmond, died Monday, February 2, 2009. He is survived by his wife, Oralia Wilson; father, Glen Wilson; daughters and son-in-law, Paula Wilson, Karen Shelton and her husband Michael; son, Joseph Wilson; grandson, Cody Wilson; sisters, Juanita Tucker, Marilyn Henderson, Susan Gleason, and Glenda Hagen. He was predeceased by his mother, Patty Delaney, and his step-mother, Mary Wilson. Mr. Wilson was a veteran of the US Army and served in the Vietnam War. He worked in construction as a roofer for Roofers Edge. His many friends and entire family will miss his loving and humorous demeanor. We want him to know we will take care of his beloved pets, Puppy and LC, and continue to root for his home team, the Nebraska Cornhuskers. The family will receive friends from 4 to 5 pm Tuesday, February 10, 2009, at the Morrissett Funeral Home, 6500 Iron Bridge Rd. (Rt. 10). A memorial service will follow at 5 pm. Interment is private.

  2. Rest well my friend and brother-in-law. Thankyou for the laughs that we shared and for your help when I needed it. I will miss you deeply. You will be thought of by me till the end of my days. I do believe that once we will again greet each other in Gods never ending Glory. So I say to you, farewell in your journey through the Heavenly stars where I know you will be.

    My Deepest Sympathies to all of you for your loss. May God grant each of you his loving confort during these difficult times. Our prayers are with all of you.

    Do know this…there was never a more giving of an individual than Mike. We can never "Thank You" enough for your kindness. God Bless You Wilson. Thanks for the so many wonderful memories.
