Dear Vernelle – I have loved getting to know George. I met George and you at the Crossings at Bon Air (my mom lived down the hall from them). He was a pleasure to be around. I am grateful for his friendship. He always had a kind word and was quick with his smile.

    He will be missed.

    Fondly,

    Sue Young

  3. Larry and Kathy and family,
God give you grace and peace in the homegoing of your father. Larry I remember working with you at Reynolds Metals in Employee Financial Services, Supplemental Unemployment Benefits. We had many laughs. I read the nice article about your father several times. It is a very good article. 73 years married to you, Mrs. Venable. That is wonderful. My parents have also been married 73 years. They are 91 (mother) and 94 (father). Your father was a veteran of the U.S. Army. God bless him for his service to us all and our country. Larry I have kept the article beside where I read my Bible each day and I pray for you and your family. I hope you are doing well. You can reach me at 804-814-2912 if you would like to catch up. I am a high school math teacher at Mechanicsville High School. I have kept up with several of the people we used to work with – Sally, Judy (passed on to heaven last year), Peter. I spent some quality time with Mr. Dowdy several weeks before he went home to Jesus. I hope you are well Larry. Would love to talk and catch up on how things are going with you. Again, God give you peace and grace exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or imagine. Your friend, Tom Abernethy, Jr. Richmond, VA.
