Obituary

Gladys Louise Faison, 85, of Midlothian, danced into Heaven to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 15, 2021. She is survived by her daughters, Betty Faison Whitmore (David), Terry L. Hilderbrand; son, Darrell G. Faison (Tina); sister, Ruby Marie Harris; half-sister, Patricia E. Ritchey; brother, Matthew Everett “Bud” Bradshaw; 9 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren, along with a host of other family and friends. Gladys is ever so happy to finally be reunited in heaven with her beloved husband, Hartwell Elizar Faison well known as “Hardy”; parents, Robert Lee and Doris Irene Bradshaw; sons, Larry M. Faison, Roy L. Faison; brothers, Robert Linwood Bradshaw, Harry Emerson Bradshaw. She wanted to let everyone know about her Savior. She was loving and giving woman, who gave of herself everyday of her life. Gladys was most happy with her children and grandchildren. She greatly enjoyed spreading the word of her Lord, Jesus Christ. She is well loved and will be missed greatly. Her funeral service will be held at the graveside on Wednesday August 18, 2021, at 10:00 am in Rosemont Cemetery, 18173 Peachtree Avenue, Sedley, VA 23878.

    I’m so sorry for your loss. Sis. Faison was a beautiful Christian lady and I will miss seeing her at Chester Church of God. Always kind and friendly.

  2. Sis Faison will surely be missed. She always made it a point to speak to me every Church Service. I have not known her for very long, but I have come to love her.

  3. Sister Faison was my Sunday school teacher, dormitory counselor and a wonderful example of true holiness. Her love for the Lord never waned but grew as she served Him faithfully year after year at Richmond church and at Camp. Surely her reward is great! Thank you, Sister Faison, for giving to the Lord. I am a life that was changed. ❤️

  4. To the whole Faison family you have Hope & I condolences. We will lift you all in Prayer for having a broken heart and your sadness. Just remember what your mom would say God is with you always through the good times as well as the not so good times. God loves each and everyone of you very much. Aunt Gladys’s is a special women who all love very much. Her love for our God has taught us all to love one another and be happy. We all know she is definitely happy to be with our God and uncle Hardy. We love you all.
