    Dear Teri,
My deepest sympathy in the earthly loss of your precious mother. May the great comfort of our Saviour Who said “I will not leave you comfortless” be very real to you. She was a faithful, gracious, talented and humble lady. She was also a good cook! Inviting our family of eight for dinner in your home was no small feat, but how we enjoyed her hospitality. Twenty years ago, when things were beginning to get difficult for her in your father’s illness, they still opened their home for Jerry and me to stay overnight on a Richmond visit. You had very dear parents who loved the Lord and were good testimonies for Him. Now they are with Him for ever! God bless you.

  2. Dear Teri, I am truly saddened to hear of the passing of your mother. My deepest sympathies are felt for you. She was always so proud of you and often shared with me what Teri was doing as a young woman and approvingly so. I treasured her friendship in the early 70’s when she and your father lived in N. Dallas, TX. and continued our friendship through the years after they moved to Virginia, often corresponding with each other and a few times spoke with her when telephoning. The past couple of years, I knew something had changed after your father had died, and eventually, she did not remember me the last time I called her. But, I will always remember your dear mother, my friend forever, Nancy. We enjoyed time spent together at church, at school ( you and my son, Jensen were in the same class together) and in a scout troupe along with Paul at the time. Our best time was spent studying the Bible together and I invited her to join me in Bible Study Fellowship weekly, enjoying her company riding there and back and often taking time for lunch. She was an inspiration to me, as I saw her homemaking skills, her parenting skills and so enjoyed her music, as she played the piano and could sing beautifully. She was kind, humble and had a smile that could lift anyone’s spirits. I missed her when you moved as a family to Virginia and I missed her all the years we were apart, always hoping to take the time to visit. I will miss her always.
