Obituary
Nancy Hamilton, 76, of Midlothian, passed away on November 7, 2024. Nancy was born in Maryland, the daughter of the late Benjamin and Miriam Atwood. She was preceded in death by her sister, Susan Brown (Phil). She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Charlie Hamilton; daughters, Tracy Spencer (Rusty) and Amy Clarke (John); grandchildren, Rachael Spencer and Caleb, Ruthie, and Levi Clarke; and numerous other family members. Nancy graduated from Mary Baldwin College with a degree in biology and worked for the Commonwealth before becoming a homemaker full-time. She enjoyed playing games and was an avid card player. Nancy was a member of several neighborhood bridge groups. She also was a very talented quilter, weaver, knitter, and seamstress. Nancy was a dearly loved wife, mother, and grandmother and will be greatly missed. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on November 20, 2024, at Morrissett Funeral & Cremation Service, 6500 Iron Bridge Rd., N. Chesterfield, VA 23234. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Commonwealth Catholic Charities or Conexus for Children’s Vision. Online condolences at www.morrissett.com
