Bruce, Nancy D., In The Presence Of Her Family Completed Her Journey Here On Earth, On August 23Rd 2009, And Is Now In Her Everlasting Home In Heaven Where She Is Now Surrounded By Those Who Arrived There Before Her. She Was Met In Heaven By Her Father, Gaines Donithan, Her Mother Lizzie Carpenter Donithan And Her Brothers Bob, Floyd And Bill Donithan And Her Many Lifelong Friends Who Have Passed Before Her. She Leaves Behind Her Husband, Of Over 60 Years, Ralph Coolidge Bruce, Her Children; H. Wayne Bruce (Rosemary), B Lynn Morano (Dave) And Anne Campbell. She Is Survived By Grandchildren; Amanda Morano, Kelsey Stewart, Lisa Simon And Christopher Campbell And 2 Step Grandchildren; Michael Campbell And Heather Oconnell. She Was Also The Great Grandmother Of Nadia Stewart. She Has One Sister, Nellie Riggins. During Her Journey On Earth Nancy Was An Active Member Of Walmsley Blvd United Methodist Church For Well Over 50 Years. She Loved To Travel On Bus Tours, Was An Avid Reader, And Participated In Many Walkathons For March Of Dimes. But Most Of All Her Family, Friends And Faith Were Everything To Her. The Family Will Receive Friends From 2 To 4 Pm And 6 To 8 Pm Tuesday At The Morrissett Funeral Home, 6500 Iron Bridge Rd. (Rt. 10). Her Funeral Service Will Be Held 1:30 Pm Wednesday At The Walmsley Blvd. Umc. Interment Will Follow In Dale Memorial Park. In Lieu Of Flowers, The Family Requests That Memorial Contributions Be Made To The Walmsley Umc, Scholarship Fund, 2950 Walmsley Blvd., Richmond, Va 23234.
