Obituary

Nancy Elizabeth Riggan, of N. Chesterfield, passed away November 25, 2023. She was born on August 24, 1930 in Ohio to Robert and Mary Sandridge. Nancy worked at American Tobacco and Allied Chemical/Honeywell. She enjoyed her booth at the indoor flea market, selling odds and ends. She was a lifelong animal lover – and especially adored her cat, Muffin. Nancy also loved flower gardening, particularly her irises.

She was preceded in death by her parents; eldest son, George Robert Bartlett; brother, Robert “Jack” Walden Sandridge, Jr.; sister, Catherine Shumaker; great-granddaughter, Delilah Reigh Walker; and her fur baby, Popeye.

Nancy is survived and loved by her children, Skip Bartlett (Judy) and Peggy Gregory; grandchildren, Sabrina Walker (Lee) and others; and great-granddaughters, Serenity and Charlee Walker; along with a host of extended family members and friends.

A visitation will take place from 2pm-4pm on Saturday, December 2, 2023 at Morrissett Funeral and Cremation Service, 6500 Iron Bridge Road, N. Chesterfield. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, please donate to Eagle Voice Center, P.O. Box 44, Glenelg, MD 21737.
