Obituary
Nancy Ellen Lowery, 78, of Chesterfield, went to be with the Lord and her parents on Thursday, April 3, 2025. Nancy was preceded in death by parents Mary Sarilda Underwood and Herbert Edward Underwood.
She is survived by her beloved Husband of 53 years, William John Lowery Jr.; Son, William John Lowery III (Lisa); Daughter, Sara Beth Davis (Brad); Brother, Edward Underwood; Three Sisters, Ann Mills, Martha Blevins, Marion Cole (Roy); Four Grandsons, Cameron Craig, Cody Craig, Willie Jacob Davis, Maddox Layne Lowery; Granddaughter, Grace Elizabeth Davis; Great Granddaughter, Magnolia Leigh Craig; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Nancy was an employee at State Corporation Commission for 25 years in the Office of General Council as an administrative supervisor. She also worked at the Bank of Raleigh in Beckley WV for 25 years. Her guiding force is her faith and her family, she was a member of Journey Christian Church and was a long-term member of Oak Grove Christian Church. She loved spending time with her family at the Dilley Farm every summer and fall.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorial contributions may be made in her name to Alzheimer’s Association and Hospice of Virginia.
