The Life And Legacy

O’Shea Redwood, beloved son, nephew, cousin, and friend, passed away at the age of 19 on September 9, 2025, in Amelia County, VA.

Born on August 31, 2006, in Richmond, VA, O’Shea was the son of Crystal McLean and Orlando Redwood. He grew up in Richmond and then moved to Henrico County, where he quickly grew a reputation for his kindness, integrity, and determination. O’Shea graduated from John Randolph Tucker High School and was known for his dancing, athletic ability, and being the best hype man. O’Shea cherished every moment with family and friends and had a smile that could brighten any room, and he will be remembered for that.

O’Shea is survived by his brothers Orlando Jr. and Amr’e Redwood, sister Angelique Redwood, nephew Khai Wilson, loving friend Karleyah, loving girlfriend Joanna Yi, Grandparents Jeanette and Sean Mclean, Celette Redwood, great-grandfather Joseph Redwood Sr., great-grandmother Eleanor McLean, aunts Gail, Shanette, Stephanie, Nicole, and Jazmin Mclean, Jasmine Traynham, great-aunts Sylvia McLean, Alicia Robinson, Amanda, Cassie, Fanny, and Shantel Hill, as well as Yvette Johnson, uncles Sean Mclean Jr., and Calvin Lewis, great-uncles Joseph Redwood and Michael McLean, cousins Clifton, Chyna and Cameron Smith, Serenity and Harmony Mclean, Trinity Walker, Ty’yonna and Keyonna Mclean, Lil’James Winston, Sacara and Sariyah Smith, Jaylen and Jaylah Lewis, Amarious Daniels and Lamarie Nolan, Octavia and Joseph Redwood III, Jamal and Yolanda Joyner, Jasmine Storrs, Kristopher Glover, Ni’cole Redwood, Sharmon Burgo, Zachery Bledsoe and many more loved ones and a host of friends including Brad, Justin, Bryce, Ceaser, Chase, Conner, Dont’e, Iker, Eli, Elijah, Gabe, Gunner, Jacob, Jay, Jordan, Josh, Kiyel, Kiyra, Kingston, Matt, Mellow, Nate, Trent, Nolan, Reberto. He will also be missed by his peers at Caviliers and Target as well as many others.

O’Shea will be remembered for his gentle spirit, unwavering optimism, and profound love for life and dancing. He leaves behind a legacy of kindness and compassion that will continue to inspire generations to come.

A visitation for O’Shea will be held at Morrissett Funeral & Cremation Service, 6500 Iron Bridge Rd, N. Chesterfield, VA 23234 on October 28th, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM followed by a celebration of life at 2:00 PM and a Repass from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
