Obituary

Todd Maxwell Taylor, 44, of Doswell, VA went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 23, 2021. He is preceded in death by his father, Harold Maxwell Taylor, Jr. Todd is survived by his beloved wife and high school sweetheart, Shelby Christine Taylor; beloved mother-in-law and father-in-law Carol Rayhorn Blair and Steve Blair; mother, Marjorie Bass Taylor; brothers and sisters by friendship to include John Gould (Hope), Jeff Thompson (Raeanne), Luke St. John, Kelly Logan; cherished niece, Isabelle Wetzel; extend family and friends. Todd loved tractors, including showing tractors he shared with his wife at shows, as well as attending them. Todd loved trains and everything railroad, to include model railroading. Todd had become a member of the Virginia Train Collector”™s Association this year. Todd was an amateur actor, starring in 2 films done by his friend, Brendan Deininger. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to VA Train Collector Association, North Carolina Transportation Museum (Spencer Shops), Alpha Phi Omega National Co-Ed Service Fraternity, or First Baptist Church Ashland (Ashland, VA). Friends may visit from 1:00-2:00 pm with his funeral service starting at 2:00pm on Saturday, August 7 at Morrissett Funeral & Cremation Service, 6500 Iron Bridge Rd., N. Chesterfield, VA 23234.
