Obituary

Pauline Booker Power, age 92, of N. Chesterfield, died on Thursday, April 26, 2018. Pauline is survived by her children, Carroll Burke (Dan) and Jeff Power (Jodi); grandchildren Lisa Beville, Chris Power (Elissa), Catherine Burke, Tyler Burke (Candice), Rylie Power, Austin Power; great-grandchildren Chase Stanga, Christian Beville, Chloe and Lane Power. She is also survived by numerous loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and all those who called her “Nonnie.” She is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Quinby Power, son Joseph Quinby Power Jr., parents Norman and Ruth Booker, and siblings Ray, Carroll, and Betty. Friends may visit from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Monday, April 30 at Morrissett Funeral & Cremation Service, 6500 Iron Bridge Rd., N. Chesterfield, VA 23234. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, May 1 at New Covenant Presbyterian Church, 6415 Irongate Dr., N. Chesterfield, VA 23234. Interment will be private. Pauline loved flowers; however, should you prefer, contributions may be made in her name to New Covenant Presbyterian Church.

Aunt Pauline truly was one sweet precious and special Lady to all who knew her & we loved her very much too. She is reunited with Uncle Quin and son Quin jr and her Mom & Dad and all the rest and especially Our Wonderful Lord & Saviour Jesus Christ.Love

  3. The Riley family are so very sorry to hear Pauline had passed. Mom, Ayleen Riley, sends her love and condolences to all of Pauline’s family and her regrets that she can not attend her services. Mom so enjoyed visits, reunions and calls with Pauline. Awesome 90+ year old cousins who cherished their Booker family ties.

  4. A hug from Great Aunt Pauline made me feel warm and loved. I will miss her special embraces. I have very fond memories of her house at Christmas ,especially, and all of the other gatherings. My thoughts and Prayers are with everyone.

  5. Our deepest condolence to Carroll and Dan for the loss of Pauline, she will be greatly misssed in your family. Jack and I only knew Pauline for a short time when we lived in Virginia, every time we got together Pauline was always warm and loving person. Our most fondest memories were when Pauline would make her Ham and Biscuits. No one made them like she did!So very sorry for losing your mother, grandmother to Catherine and Tyler
