Obituary

Phyllisbootsie Darnell, a bright new star graces Heaven, receiving a much beloved mother, grandmother, and friend. She entered eternal life on August 17, 2007. She was preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, Irving D. Darnell, and her sister Frances Jacklett. She is survived by her daughters, Evelyn Williams, Brenda Manuel, Bobbi Windom, and Amy Cardwell; sons, Irving “Bubba” Darnell, Jr., and Thomas “Tommy” Darnell; sisters, Mary Schaich and Flossie Smith; 10 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren and another on the way; beloved cousin, Jean Powell; and devoted nephew, Ernie Smith. Family will receive friends from 2-8 PM Tuesday (today) at the Morrissett Funeral Home, 6500 Iron Bridge Rd (Rt. 10). A graveside service will be held 11 AM Wednesday in Sunset Memorial Park.
