Obituary
Ralph L. Abbott, 93, of Chesterfield, VA went to be with the Lord on Friday, October 10, 2025. He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Abbott; parents, Bert and Annie Abbott; brothers, Bill and Bob Abbott; and sisters, Helen Galamore and Anna May Hogue. Ralph is survived by his children, Denise Hawks, Diane Given (Jamie), and Michael Abbott (Angela); grandchildren, Shannon Foster (John), Tim Hawks (Lauren), Rhonda Hawks, Melissa Grollimund (David), Brian Abbott, Joy Harris (Caleb), Niel Given, Bethany Blanton (John), Sheridan Ripple (Josh); and 21 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive guests from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm with Ralph’s funeral service to follow at 12:00 pm on Tuesday, October 21 at Clover Hill Baptist Church 3100 Courthouse Rd., N. Chesterfield, VA 23236. Graveside to follow at Dale Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to Word of Life, PO Box 600 Schroon Lake, NY 12870, https://www.wol.org/ or to Clover Hill Baptist Church.
