Obituary

Rebecca Lynn Graves, 40, of N. Chesterfield, VA, died suddenly on Monday, May 13, 2019. Rebecca is survived by her beloved husband of 22 years, John S. Graves, Jr.; children Rhiannon M. Graves, John S. Graves III, and Emaline R. Graves; parents David R. and Claire L. Zollbrecht; sister Lynnette A. Zollbrecht; and mother-in-law Helen A. Graves. Rebecca was born and raised in upstate New York. She loved gardening and geology. She had an associate degree and was a laboratory technician. Rebecca loved hunting with her husband, having deep conversations with Rhiannon, exchanging bad jokes with Johnny, and playing checkers with Emaline. She was loved by many friends and family. Friends may visit from 12-2 p.m. on Saturday, May 18 at Morrissett Funeral & Cremation Service, 6500 Iron Bridge Rd., N. Chesterfield, VA 23234. A graveside service will be held at 3 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Park, 2901 West Hundred Rd., Chester, VA 23831.
