Obituary

Mills, Rev. Harold Snider, 93 of Vinton, VA, formerly of Richmond, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 13, 2007. Rev. Mills was active in the ministry for 59 years as a lead pastor and associate pastor in churches in Pennsylvania, Ohio, Florida, and Virginia and was instrumental in planting several churches, including Richmond Southside Church of the Nazarene. He is survived by his wife of nearly 67 years, Kathleen L. Mills; sons, Rev. Carlton Mills and wife, Miriam, Dr. Kenneth L. Mills and wife, Patti, Rev. Robert Mills and wife, Susan; ten grandchildren, Rev. Jonathan Mills and wife, Kimberly, Mrs. Carla Pritt, Rev. Nina Beard and husband, Rich, Kenneth Mills and wife, Kathy, Kristen Mills, Kerri Mills, Rev. Ryan Mills, Rev. Adrian Mills and wife, Lauren, Ericka Mills, and Lauren Mills; ten great-grandchildren, Austyn and Jordan Pritt, Landon and Logan Beard, Mackenzie, Wesley, Emylie, Aidan, Jarrod, and Reese Mills. The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 PM Tuesday at the Morrissett Funeral Home, 6500 Iron Bridge Rd. (Rt. 10). His funeral service will be held 11 AM Wednesday at the funeral home. Interment to follow in Dale Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Harold S. Mills Scholarship Fund at Eastern Nazarene College, 23 East Elm Ave., Quincy, MA 02170.
