Obituary
Rhonda Hamby Dixon, 63, of Petersburg, Va. joined loving family members and went to walk with Jesus on Thursday, March 18, 2021. She is preceded in death by her father, Melvin Hamby and mother, Hattie Hamby. She is survived by her loving husband, John “Keith” Dixon; children, Randal Dixon (Amanda Thompson), Stephanie Dixon (Sean Coates); grandchildren, Alayna Dixon, Sean Coates, Jr., Azlynn Coates, and Lundyn Coates; brother, Larry Hamby; sisters, Jessica Willoughby (Billy), and Melanie Smyth (Grant); nephew, Larry, Jr.; nieces, Chrystal, Candance, and Constance; mother-in-law, Audrey DeBerry; brother-in-law, David Dixon; and her husbands uncles, Mike and Donald Dixon. An informal service will be held Friday, March 26, 6 pm -7 pm at Morrissett Funeral and Cremation Service, 6500 Iron Bridge Rd. N. Chesterfield, Va. Family invites friends to stay for a gathering period from 7 pm “ 8 pm.

We are heartbroken with Rhonda’s passing. This sudden loss is so hard to handle.
We will always remember Rhonda’s easy laugh and warm loving smile. She sure brightened up our hearts. All those sweet wonderful memories will be with us forever.
