  2. I’ve known Rick since we were kids. I am sorry to say I did not stay in touch over the years. I will always remember Ricks enthusiasm for life. Rick could not wait to join the Airborne and start life’s adventure. One summer Rick, Jeff Nordwall and I climbed Old Rag mountain and nearly froze are rear ends off, we were totally unprepared for the night time drop in temperature. I’t was a great time I will never forget. Rick, I hope your shortened life was everything you wished for. My condolences go out to Mr. and Mrs. Clarkson."Currahee" Old Friend.
