Obituary

Robert Stenstrom, 65, of Chesterfield, VA, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 9, 2022. He was preceded in death by his mother and father Coralmae and Carl H. Stenstrom. He is survived by his beloved wife of 36 years, Zoraida Stenstrom; sister, Linda Stenstrom-Smith (Thomas); brother, Eric J. Stenstrom (Eva); and a host of extended family.  

Bob lived a rich life. He said everyday was precious. As a CTM-E6 specialist in the Navy, he met Zoraida and traveled the world, retiring after 20 years of service. He continued working in technology and the Veteran’s Administration. Bob was industrious and passionate. His joys were his family, his collections, movies, photography, music, reading, and pride in their home. He was innately generous and good natured.  Bob always exceeded expectations! In his exact words “there’s no one just like me!” He will be greatly missed by many.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 21, 2022 at 11 am with his service to follow at 12 pm at Morrissett Funeral and Cremation Service, 6500 Iron Bridge Rd. N. Chesterfield, VA 23234. Interment will follow the service at 2 pm at Virginia Veterans Cemetery at Amelia, 10300Pridesville Rd. Amelia Court House, VA 23002.
