Obituary
It is with deep sadness that we must announce the passing of Robert “Bob” Hamilton. He passed away peacefully at home on July 1, 2024 with his wife at his side.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert P. Hamilton Sr. and mother, Charlotte Hamilton. He is survived by his devoted wife of 30 years, Cheryl Noonan Hamilton, his daughter Sherrie Hamilton (Joe), his son, Robbie Hamilton (Candace), his brother Benny Hamilton Cheryl’s children Rick Wilkinson (Lisa), Christy Casler (Bobby) and Cathy Ferraiolo. His legacy will continue through his 12 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
Bob worked as sales rep and manager at RC Cola, Voortman Cookies and Canada Dry, as well as others. In his free time, Bob enjoyed his many hobbies of playing golf, playing and umpiring softball, hunting and fishing. He was a member at Mill Quarter Golf course in Powhatan. He loved playing there as well as in Myrtle Beach; especially loved playing in the World AM tournament there.
A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, 7/27/24 at 11am at Mill Quarter Plantation Golf Course.

Robert “Bob” Hamilton will be dearly missed by those who knew him; but his legacy will live on through his family, friends and colleagues.
