Obituary
Robert Stanley Bradshaw Jr., of Chesterfield County, Virginia, passed away peacefully on February 2, 2026. He was 83 years old.
Born on September 10, 1942, in Kinston, North Carolina, Robert was the son of the late Robert and Daisy Warlick Bradshaw. He built a life marked by dedication to his work, devotion to his family, and a deep commitment to his faith.
A Journeyman Pipefitter by trade, Robert proudly served the last 22 years of his 40+ year career at the Defense General Supply Center.
Outside of his professional life, Robert found joy in many pursuits. An avid sports fan who never forgot his roots, Robert’s enthusiasm for life was perhaps most visible when he was cheering for his North Carolina teams, a pastime that remained a central joy throughout his years. He had a lifelong passion for weight lifting and enjoyed the outdoors through camping adventures. Robert’s love for motorcycles was matched only by his passion for car shows and the open road.
A man of faith, Robert was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. His spiritual devotion was an important part of his life and brought him strength and purpose throughout the years.
Robert is survived by his devoted and loving wife of nearly 54 years, Janet Bradshaw; daughters Naomi Cheda, Shelly Brown (Eric), and Crystal Jones (Randy); son Robert Stanley Bradshaw, III (Maribel); grandchildren Alex Sanchez, Logan Sanchez, Christopher Jones, Bryson Jones, Ava Jones, and Christian Brown; and his beloved dog, Dixie.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Dennis Bradshaw.
