Obituary

Ronald Baughman Reid, 66, of Chester, VA departed this world on January 11, 2021, to go be with his Heavenly Father, his beloved parents Greer B. and Audrey M. Reid. Ronnie was a retiree from Phillip Morris USA where he served as a machinist. He is survived by his loving wife, Valerie Reid, mother-in-law, Juanita Surdam; sisters Nancy Pannell Roane (Carl), Mary R. Lee (Dean), Carolyn R. Smith (Ronnie), Gwen F. Reid; nephews, Robert F. Pannell, II (Angi), Brendan Lee (Nicole), Landon Lee (Kirsten), Addison Keener, Conley Hudson, Grey Haubert, Reed Haubert; and his aunt Betty Lou Cook. The family will receive friends from 11:30 am-12:30 pm with his service starting 12:30 pm on Friday, January 15 at Morrissett Funeral & Cremation Service, 6500 Iron Bridge Rd. (Rt. 10) N. Chesterfield, VA. Ronnie will be laid to rest at 2:00 pm at Blandford Cemetery in Petersburg, VA. A live stream of the service will be available through his funeral home obituary page.
